The two “hinge” hours in the Liturgy of the Hours are Morning and Evening Prayer which integrate the Word of God and the prayer of the psalms into the age of the Church. The Liturgy of the Hours expresses the liturgical season, or feast, and prepares for and flows from the daily sacrifice of the Eucharist. As did the apostles after Christ’s Resurrection, please join our community Thursday mornings at 8:00am before the 8:30am Mass at St. John Capistran.
