The gospel proclaimed today invites us to reflect on our blessings and treasures.

It is so good to be home after a week of planned vacation and in time to recover from a recent bad fall. I know the power of prayer and I am so very grateful for all the prayers sent my way as I recover from an injury to my right knee.

Today, the beautiful story of Martha and Mary reminds us that we are a people of both prayer and action.
