respectlife.org/9-days-signup.Church Bells for Life, an initiative of the U.S. Coalition for Life, will be observed in our parish by the ringing of our bells at noon on January 22, the anniversary of the Supreme Court decision in 1973 that promoted the abortion of over 63 million unborn children. Please pause on that day to pray the Angelus to make abortion unthinkable in our nation, and in memory of the millions of children aborted as well as their mothers who have been irrevocably harmed.
The Annual March for Life trip to Washington, DC will be held on Friday, January 24, boarding the bus immediately after 5:30 a.m. Mass. We plan to arrive for the rally, which starts at noon. The bus will depart from the Basilica at 5:00 p.m. for the trip home. Space is limited, $25 per person. To secure your seat, or if you would like to sponsor a marcher, contact Carolyn Sopher-Martin at 412-860-9980 or Sue Vodzak at 412-953-8840.
